You can now hide the message / chat notification from notification panel and will not shows message in the top of the phone. More than that the Block Read Status still can help you to read the message without showing the "R" (Read) sign to your contact phone. You can also lock your BBM application and hide all the conversation and the app itself, protect it with password without any other application. BBM Essential v2 extends the official BBM default features based on the latest BBM v2.11.0.18 application, and below are the extended features:

Download and Installation

Please note, this BBM Essential v2 is available in two versions. The uncloned version will replace your official bbm application, while the cloned version is a standalone application with different signature and process name, so you are able to use multiple BBM app in single phone at once.

1. Please select (use Chrome Browser recommended):
   • Download BBM Essential v2.1
   • Download BBM Essential v2.1 Cloned
2. If you are using the official bbm app, uninstall it first (uncloned version only).
3. Install the application normally.
4. Don't forget to check the "Unknown Source" since it's not installing from playstore.
5. Open and sign in with your BBM Account
